GPS 405 CX HRM
Garmin Forerunner 405 CX with Heartrate! This is an adtaption of the 405 series. Here are the differences.
1. It computes calories differnently. It uses heart rate primarly rather than distance and duration of exercise. This is more accurate as your Heart Rate depicts how hard you body is really working. This can change day to day. # miles one day will not be the same as 3 miles after a stressful week at work and some dehydration.
2. It comes with a soft velcro wrist strap option that conforms to the runners wrist more comfortably than the standard rubber watch. (We like the rubber as it deals with sweat better). Women in paticular like this feature as they typically have smaller wrists.
3. It only comes in blue! Yes it is true. This watch is not offered in any other color.
