Our take: The Asics 2160 is exactly what we hoped, and we mean that in a good way. It has the moderate stability we've come to expect and the targeted Gel cushioning gives it a really nice ride, without sacrificing road-feel. If you loved the 2150 (or 2140, or 2130, etc...) you should feel perfectly at home in these. We also carry the 2160 in wide (D) and narrow (2A) if you you need a bit more or less space than the average runner.
