The running industry's premier high performance stability shoe is back for another season and better than ever.  This version of the Gel-Kayano(R) is the lightest ever made.  While the 17th edition of the Kayano(R) features several updates it keeps the same consistent ride which makes the shoe so popular.  The Gel-Kayano(R) famous ride has been enhanced in two ways; first the full length Solyte(R) 55 lasting material has been split in two.  This causes the heel to be at 55 degrees and the forefoot to be softer at 45 degrees which provides a plush road running feel. Secondly, the Kayano has improved their sockliner by providing the new X-40, a sockliner made of 5.5 mm layer of memory foam featuring an enhanced 'bounce back' compared to earlier versions.    

The new upper design focuses on an improved fit and comfort, highlighted by Discrete Eye-stay construction.  The evolution of Biomorphic Fit(R) separates the eyelet stays, allowing the upper to move more effective with the biomechanic make up of the foot.  Asymmetrical lacing design finishing with a reduction in vamp overlays for improve toe box comfort.  The tongue mesh is made from Spacemaster mesh, a wicking material.  Finally, the synethic materials are made of recyclable materials making the Kayano(R) more ecofriendly in the new running industry 'green' movement.
